Auto-Scan Your Gmail for Scams

Set up a filter so suspicious emails are automatically checked by NoScamForMe

Coming soon: scan@noscamforme.com is being set up for automated scanning. In the meantime, you can manually copy and paste suspicious emails into our scanner.

Step-by-Step Setup

Open Gmail Settings

In Gmail, click the gear icon in the top-right corner, then click "See all settings".

Go to Filters

Click the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab at the top of the settings page.

Create New Filter

Scroll down and click "Create a new filter".

Set Filter Criteria

In the "Has the words" field, copy and paste the following:

urgent OR "act now" OR "verify your account" OR "suspended" OR "prize winner" OR "gift card" OR "wire transfer" OR "IRS" OR "Medicare" OR "Social Security" OR "click here immediately" OR "confirm your identity" OR "bitcoin" OR "cryptocurrency"

Then click "Create filter" to continue.

Forward to NoScamForMe

Check the box next to "Forward it to:" and add scan@noscamforme.com.

Also check "Apply the label:" and create a new label called "Suspicious - Auto Scanned".

Save Filter

Click "Create filter" to save. Gmail will now automatically forward any emails matching those keywords to NoScamForMe for scanning.

Tip: You can always edit this filter later to add more trigger words. Go back to Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses → click "edit" next to your filter.
