Got a call from someone claiming to be Medicare saying I qualified for a new dental plan. They wanted my Medicare number to "activate" it. Hung up and called Medicare directly โ they confirmed it was a scam. Medicare never calls you to offer new benefits.

๐ก Tip
Tip for everyone: if you get a text from your "bank" with a link, don't click it. Open your bank's app directly or call the number on the back of your card. My neighbor lost $3,000 clicking a fake Chase link last month.

โ Question
My grandson says he keeps getting texts saying "wrong number" from pretty girls who want to chat. I told him that's how the crypto scams start โ they build trust then pitch fake investments. Am I right?
