1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NoScamForMe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NoScamForMe LLC ("NoScamForMe," "we," "us," or "our"). Your continued use of the Service following any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

2. Description of Service

NoScamForMe provides AI-powered scam detection and analysis for text messages, emails, screenshots, URLs, and verbal descriptions of suspicious communications. The Service is designed to help users identify potential scams and protect themselves from fraudulent activity.

NoScamForMe is an informational tool only. It is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or law enforcement advice. If you believe you are the victim of a scam or fraud, you should contact the appropriate authorities, including local law enforcement or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

3. No Guarantee of Accuracy

While we strive for high accuracy in our scam detection analysis, NoScamForMe:

• Does not guarantee that all scams will be detected. New and evolving scam techniques may not yet be recognized by our systems.
• Does not guarantee that all flagged content is actually a scam. Legitimate communications may occasionally be incorrectly identified as suspicious.
• Should not be your sole source of decision-making for financial transactions, personal safety decisions, or any other critical matter.
• Is an assistive tool, not a definitive authority. Our analysis is intended to supplement — not replace — your own judgment and due diligence.

4. Limitation of Liability

NoScamForMe provides scam detection as an informational tool only, not as a guarantee of protection against scams or fraud. You acknowledge and agree to the following:

• False Positives: NoScamForMe is not liable for false positives, where legitimate communications are incorrectly identified as scams. Any actions you take based on a false positive — including blocking contacts, ignoring legitimate messages, or reporting innocent parties — are taken at your own risk.
• False Negatives: NoScamForMe is not liable for false negatives, where scams or fraudulent communications are not detected by the Service. You should always exercise your own judgment and caution when evaluating suspicious communications.
• User Judgment: Users should always use their own judgment in addition to the tool. NoScamForMe is designed to assist, not to make decisions on your behalf.
• Financial Losses: NoScamForMe LLC is not responsible for any financial losses, whether a scam is detected or not detected by the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, losses from wire transfers, gift card purchases, cryptocurrency transactions, unauthorized account access, or any other financial harm.
• Maximum Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoScamForMe LLC's total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to NoScamForMe in the thirty (30) days immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

IN NO EVENT SHALL NOSCAMFORME LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

5. User Accounts

When you create an account with NoScamForMe, you agree to:

• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password and any authentication tokens.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information up to date.
• Notify us immediately at support@noscamforme.com of any unauthorized access to or use of your account or any other breach of security.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized that activity. NoScamForMe will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to facilitate scams, fraud, phishing, or any other deceptive or illegal activity.
• Engage in automated scraping of the API, including the use of bots, crawlers, or other automated means to access the Service without prior written consent.
• Create multiple accounts to bypass scan limits, free plan restrictions, or any other usage limitations imposed by the Service.
• Use the Service to test malware, viruses, or other harmful content that could compromise the integrity or security of the Service or its users.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, algorithms, or underlying technology of the application.
• Submit content that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise make the Service available to third parties for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Violations of these acceptable use policies may result in immediate account termination without refund. NoScamForMe reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether conduct violates these Terms.

7. Subscription Plans & Payments

NoScamForMe offers various subscription plans, including a free tier with limited functionality. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Recurring Billing: Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected). Your payment method will be automatically charged at the beginning of each billing cycle until you cancel.
• Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that time.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact us at support@noscamforme.com.
• Free Plan Limits: Free plan users receive a limited number of scans as described on the pricing page. Once the limit is reached, you must upgrade to a paid plan or wait for your limit to reset.

8. Scan Packs

In addition to subscription plans, NoScamForMe offers Scan Packs — one-time purchases of additional scan credits. By purchasing a Scan Pack, you agree to the following:

• One-Time Purchase: Scan Packs are purchased as a single transaction and are not recurring charges.
• Credits Never Expire: Scan credits purchased through Scan Packs do not expire and will remain in your account until used.
• Active Paid Plan Required: Scan Pack credits require an active paid subscription plan to use. If your paid plan lapses or is cancelled, your Scan Pack credits will be preserved but cannot be used until you reactivate a paid plan.
• Non-Refundable: Scan Pack purchases are non-refundable. All sales of Scan Packs are final.

9. Browser Extension

NoScamForMe offers a browser extension to provide convenient access to scam detection features. By installing and using the browser extension, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• The extension only activates when the user explicitly clicks on it or selects text for analysis. It does not run automatically in the background.
• The extension does not monitor your browsing activity passively. It has no background processes that track your online behavior.
• The extension does not collect URLs you visit, your browsing history, or your keystrokes.
• No screenshots of your screen or browser content are taken without explicit user action.
• The only data sent to NoScamForMe servers is the content you explicitly ask us to check (e.g., selected text or a URL you submit for analysis).
• The extension only stores a login authentication token locally on your device to maintain your session.

10. Gmail Integration

NoScamForMe offers an optional Gmail integration that allows the Service to scan your incoming emails for potential scams. By enabling this integration, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• The integration accesses Gmail data, including email headers and body content, solely for the purpose of scanning for potential scams.
• NoScamForMe never stores email content after the scanning process is complete. Emails are analyzed in real time and discarded.
• NoScamForMe never shares email content with third parties for any reason.
• The integration uses the Gmail API with a readonly scope only. NoScamForMe cannot send, delete, modify, or otherwise alter your emails.
• On initial connection, the Service only scans emails received within the last 30 days.
• After the initial scan, the Service only monitors new incoming emails going forward.
• You may revoke NoScamForMe's access to your Gmail account at any time from your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com.
• How to disconnect: You can disconnect the Gmail integration from your NoScamForMe account settings page, or by visiting your Google account security page and removing NoScamForMe from the list of authorized applications.

11. User-Submitted Content

By submitting content to NoScamForMe — including community posts, scam reports, stories, and comments — you agree to the following:

• You grant NoScamForMe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of community protection and scam awareness.
• You retain full ownership of your original content. This license does not transfer ownership to NoScamForMe.
• NoScamForMe reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, is deemed inappropriate, or is otherwise objectionable at our sole discretion.

12. Family Protection

NoScamForMe offers a Family Protection feature that allows you to add trusted contacts who can receive alerts about scan results. By using this feature, you agree to the following:

• By adding trusted contacts, you consent to sharing scan results — including verdict, risk score, and summary information — with those confirmed contacts via email or push notification.
• Contacts must confirm their consent before they begin receiving alerts. NoScamForMe will not send alerts to contacts who have not opted in.

13. Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Content submitted for analysis is processed by our AI systems and is not stored permanently after analysis unless you are a registered user and opt in to scan history. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.

14. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through the following process:

• Binding Arbitration: Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
• Waiver of Jury Trial: By agreeing to these Terms, you waive any right to a trial by jury in connection with any dispute arising under these Terms.
• Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
• Small Claims Court: Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the jurisdiction of such court. Small claims court actions are exempt from the arbitration requirement.
• Injunctive Relief: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of a party's intellectual property rights or confidential information.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

16. Termination

NoScamForMe reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service.
• Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
• Conduct that is harmful to other users, third parties, or the business interests of NoScamForMe.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law provisions.

17. Changes to Terms

NoScamForMe reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.
